Eventmanagement during Corona pandemic

Here you will find current information on the Corona Virus especially for the meeting industry.

Update 14.01.2022

In Dresden, the current Saxon Corona Emergency Ordinance applies with far-reaching measures and restrictions. The updated ordinance comes into force on 14 January 2022 and is expected to apply until 6 of February 2022.

With the exception of the basic services, access to most offers and services is only possible with corresponding proof in each case (3G, 2G, 2G+). The 2G-plus regulation was newly introduced; it is applied, among other things, in the gastronomy sector as well as in cultural, sports and leisure facilities.

Basically applies:

  • Big events, trade fairs, festivals and events typical of the country are not permitted.
  • Meetings are allowed (2G, contact recording): outdoors: limited to 1000 people; indoors with capacity restrictions (see ordinance)
  • Accommodation and tourism: Offers and services are possible (2G+); contact registration.
  • Gastronomy may open (indoor 2G+, outdoor 2G); contact recording; limitation of opening hours to 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
