Dresden showcases itself to the Polish MICE sector

New contacts, face-to-face discussions and keen interest in Dresden: on 7 October 2026, Dresden’s conference, events and hospitality sector showcased itself for the first time with its own MICE workshop in Warsaw. Under the hashtag #dodreznaktoniezna (roughly meaning ‘Off to Dresden’), Dresden Convention Service and its partners met with 24 decision-makers from Polish event and incentive agencies as well as companies.

At the Skyworks27 event venue, high above the rooftops of Warsaw, the focus was on face-to-face discussions about events, incentives and future projects in Dresden.

Experience Dresden’s diversity

Following a welcome address in Polish by Michał Rydz, Corinne Miseer, Managing Director of Dresden Marketing GmbH, presented the diversity of Dresden as a conference and meeting destination – from exceptional venues and cultural highlights to creative incentive programmes.

Hendrik Eibisch from Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik provided a special moment by introducing Dresden’s partner network in an entertaining way, with a touch of humour and even a few words in Polish.

Dresden’s culinary delights were also on show: alongside Saxon specialities and sparkling wine from Schloss Wackerbarth, ‘Stollen Girl’ Ruth Liebscher delighted the audience during her first international appearance with the Dresden Christmas stollen and fascinating insights into its tradition.

New contacts and a reunion in Dresden

The one-to-one discussions highlighted the keen interest shown by Polish event organisers in Dresden as a destination for meetings, events and incentives. At the same time, the joint presentation clearly demonstrated just how closely networked Dresden’s MICE sector is.

The workshop laid a promising foundation for further expanding contacts with the Polish MICE market. The next step is already planned: from 18 to 20 March 2027, the Polish guests are invited to a familiarisation trip to Dresden to get to know the destination and its event facilities first-hand.
