Baroque and Beyond: SocialSix explores Dresden

The event kicked off at the Penck Hotel Dresden, where Justine and Charlotte from SocialSix were staying. With 174 rooms, six meeting rooms and works by the artist A. R. Penck, the hotel combines art, design and professional facilities for meetings.

The Ostra site demonstrated just how diverse Dresden can be, with its industrial halls, refurbished studios and a lake-side stage for creative open-air events. Just a few minutes away, the Löwensaal in the former bank building offered a completely different setting: a magnificent ballroom with ornate details – ideal for exclusive business events.

Finally, the Kraftwerk Mitte site brought together culture, the creative industries and business. Alongside modern event spaces, the Neonworx co-working space impressed visitors with its ‘Kunsthalle’ and historic crane arm. The visit was rounded off with a tasting session at Lohrmanns Brew brewery.

The roof terrace of FELIX am Zwinger offered a special view over the city – a highlight for events with a panoramic vista. The day concluded with the ‘Forum Unternehmensevents – Meet MICE Dresden’ at the Transport Museum, where, amidst classic cars and interactive exhibits, visitors were able to experience the versatility of museum spaces.
