Marienschacht Bannewitz
The Marienschacht, a technical-historical monument with an unmistakable view of the Elbe valley, is located about nine kilometres from the city centre.
From the former shaft, you not only have a unique view over the Saxon state capital, you can also see as far as the vineyards of Radebeul and the Königstein fortress in Saxon Switzerland.
