Dresden's history comes to life

Step into Dresden’s past and watch history come alive in two remarkable locations that blur the line between vision and reality. The multimedia exhibition "Festung Xperience" invites you on an adventurous journey through time within the ancient vaults beneath Brühl’s Terrace. Stunning 360° projections recreate 450 years of Dresden’s dynamic history, immersing you in the city’s storied past. At "Zwinger Xperience", virtual reality, 270° projections, and cutting-edge audio technology combine to bring the history of Dresden’s iconic Zwinger to life in captivating detail.

Unique exhibitions at the Panometer Dresden

Yadegar Asis 360° panoramas

Since 2006, the 27-metre-high circular images by artist Yadegar Asisi have been an insider tip among Dresden's exhibitions and museums. His 360° panoramas provide insights into times gone by. The exhibitions alternate between ‘Dresden in the Baroque Era’, ‘Dresden 1045’ and ‘Amazonia’.
