Current situation in Dresden

Update: 04/10/2022

In Dresden, the current Saxon Corona Emergency Ordinance applies with far-reaching measures and restrictions. The Saxon state government has decided to extend the current Corona Protection Ordinance until 7th of April 2023.

Basically applies:

  • Large events are generally declared permissible - there is no capacity restriction.

      • Folk, city and similar festivals - are also declared permissible.

      • The mask requirement in hotels, restaurants, concert halls and retail stores, for example, is eliminated, as are all other restrictions such as 3-G or 2-G+ obligation or distance requirements

      • Passengers on Saxon public transport are once again allowed to use buses and trains with an OP mask instead of the FFP2 mask they used to wear.
