Wie Laufevents & Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement zusammenpassen

Health always pays off! In our constantly changing world of work, company health management is becoming increasingly important. Promoting the health of employees in companies covers countless aspects and goes far beyond simply offering sports programmes. Studies have shown that a well-developed occupational health management concept leads to fewer days of absence in the long term and therefore to greater productivity. Fit and motivated employees are also more productive and efficient anyway. Employee satisfaction can also be increased through WHM programmes, which not only leads to happier employees, but can also increase their loyalty and reduce dismissal rates.

The REWE Team Challenge Dresden is the perfect company measure to promote health within the company. Participation in the 5 km company run not only supports communication within the company, but also focuses on a common goal and each individual participant promotes their physical fitness - which not only strengthens them in everyday life, but also in their working environment.

Of course, there are still a few months to go until the sharp start on 12 June 2024 at Dresden's Altmarkt, but the countdown has already begun. It has been running again, since 18 October to be precise - with the start of registration. And the rush is huge, with over 5,000 runners securing their starting place for the 15th edition in the first few days. There are now more than 12,000, and it's clear that the first to arrive will enjoy the anticipation of the popular five-kilometre company run, including the grand finale on the red carpet in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium, for the longest time.

"REWE Team Challenge and Dresden - they simply belong together. It's definitely a highlight of the year for us, too, and we look forward to it just as much as the many runners. We have heard that the first companies have long since started their preparations. And if it's just a question of who will be in which team at the start next year," says Reinhardt Schmidt from Laufszene Events GmbH, which launched the first REWE Team Challenge in 2009.

The field of runners will once again take to the course every half hour, and for the first time there will be a total of seven starting waves, the first at 5 pm and then the next every 30 minutes. The start time at 6 p.m. is particularly coveted, with only a few starting places still available.
