Bentley Dresden Trophy 2026: International polo tournament returns to Dresden
- Event News
Dresden is further expanding its position as a versatile sports and event city: After its successful premiere last year, the Bentley Dresden Trophy, the International German Arena Polo Championship, will return to the traditional Dresden-Seidnitz racecourse from September 11 to 13, 2026. Advance sales for the top-class sport and lifestyle event have already begun.
By hosting an international polo tournament, Dresden is expanding its sporting profile with a discipline that combines dynamism, precision and exclusivity. At the same time, the event demonstrates the diversity of the state capital's sporting landscape and the potential of unusual event formats.
The backdrop is particularly impressive: The more than 135-year-old Dresden-Seidnitz racecourse is one of the city's most traditional venues and, with its extensive grounds, offers ideal conditions for sports and major events. With the polo tournament, the historic location will once again become the stage for an event that combines top-class sport, a social experience and a special atmosphere.
The premiere in 2025 already attracted attention far beyond Saxony. Eight teams with a total of 96 horses competed back then and delighted visitors and the international polo community. For 2026, the organizers are once again expecting a top-class field of participants.
In addition to the sporting competitions, guests can expect an extensive supporting program. Plans include an exclusive guest area at the Dresden Gallop Lounge, a large public area right next to the pitch and popular formats such as the White Dinner and the Argentinian barbecue "Great Asado". The Bentley Dresden Trophy is thus developing into an event that combines sport, networking and experience in a special way.
For Dresden, the event once again underlines the attractiveness of unusual locations and the city's ability to successfully host international sporting and lifestyle events. The combination of a historic venue, top-class sport and an exclusive supporting program creates an experience that further enhances Dresden's profile as a destination.
