Dresden Marketing GmbH is pleased about the gain for the conference and congress location

Historic counter hall becomes a new event location for the city as the "Löwensaal"

Dresden, 7 November 2019. The comprehensive renovation and conversion measures at the former bank building at Dr.-Külz-Ring 10 are largely complete. The "Löwensaal" can now be used as a new event location. Until 2013, the room served as the counter hall of the Dresdner Bank.

The first user is Dresden Marketing GmbH (DMG), which is responsible, among other things, for the congress marketing of the Saxon state capital. "We are very pleased that the lavishly renovated Löwensaal is now available for business events such as meetings or conferences. This adds another attractive event location equipped with state-of-the-art technology to the congress and conference location and at the same time preserves it for public use," says Dr Jürgen Amann, Managing Director of DMG.

With its conference "Dresden. Fit 4Congress", DMG is also bringing important decision-makers from all over Germany to the new location. "I can well imagine that one or the other will put the Löwensaal on their agenda for their next business event," Amann continues. "Dresden.Fit4Congress" communicates current industry knowledge and trend topics of the congress industry to local and national event planners and decision-makers from science and business as potential customers for Dresden as a location.

The Löwensaal offers space for a wide variety of event concepts with a maximum of 350 people on an area of around 550 sqm. In addition to business events, private parties and events such as dance evenings are also possible in the Löwensaal.

The owner of the listed building at Dr.-Külz-Ring 10 is a German real estate fund. The building, which dates back to 1905, was erected by Deutsche Bank and most recently used as a branch of Dresdner Bank. The Sächsische Ärzteversorgung, which has rented the space on the 2nd to 4th floors for its own business activities, has already moved in.
