Dresden sets the tone - IMEX Frankfurt 2025

When the international MICE industry gathers in Frankfurt for IMEX, Dresden Convention Service is not only there, but right in the middle of it. Together with the Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden, we presented our city as an open, creative and powerful congress and event destination from May 20 to 22, 2025.
Our goal: to get people interested in our city, supported by real impressions.

Our stand became a meeting point for great conversations, new contacts and reunions with long-standing partners. A special highlight was particularly well received: a quick-drawing artist portrayed visitors in the charming "Dresden style" - individually, with artistic ease and a pinch of humor. What began as an original idea became a crowd-puller and a conversation starter with a lasting impression.

The atmosphere was characterized by interest, curiosity about our city and an openness to new perspectives. Dresden convinced with clear messages: short distances, excellent infrastructure, inspiring locations and a strong network of experienced MICE partners.

Dresden in dialog - and in focus

The great interest in Dresden as an event location was clearly noticeable in the discussions. There were not only questions about event space, but also about the "added value" that Dresden offers as a congress city: its proximity to science and research, cultural diversity, genuine hospitality and a growing community of future-oriented players.

The visitors were surprised at how much Dresden has to offer and how much potential there is in the destination. This positive response has reinforced our belief that our approach of positioning Dresden as a modern yet authentic MICE destination is in tune with the times.

Thank you for three inspiring days

We take valuable discussions, new impulses and great encounters back to the Elbe - and say thank you: to all partners, contributors and visitors who experienced and helped shape Dresden at IMEX Frankfurt 2025.

And we are already looking forward to seeing you again in Dresden.
