Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden wins Certified Star Award 2021
- MICE news
In the run-up, customers and guests, among others, were able to vote for their favourite hotel for ten weeks from September to mid-November. "We won by a large margin over the runner-up. A total of 1,823 valid votes were cast, 49 percent of the voting went to us. We couldn't have wished for better feedback from customers and guests," says hotel director Sebastian Klink proudly. The CERTIFIED STAR-AWARD was awarded for the tenth time this year. The award is given in the three categories Certified Business Hotel, Certified Conference Hotel and Certified Green Hotel.
The future of tourism: sustainability as a cornerstone
Sebastian Klink has been General Manager of the Bellevue Hotel since 2014 and has since been strongly committed to the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). After all, he says, every company has a social responsibility to fulfil in addition to an economic one. "We at the Bellevue have already dedicated ourselves to many topics that will shape the future of tourism and society. Sustainability has long been one of the global megatrends among these." With this in mind, the Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden already had itself awarded the "Certified Green Hotel" certificate on 21 January 2021. The Bellevue had also been Green-certified in the three previous years and faced the revised, more stringent catalogue of requirements during the renewed audit. "
Bellevue Hotel: Expansion of Corporate Social Responsibility Activities
After the certification at the beginning of the year, Certified Managing Director Till Runte now also congratulates the Dresden hotel on the award: "With this, the Bellevue puts the crown on its commitment in terms of sustainability. Being popular and receiving a positive vote from its customers is an important confirmation that it has its finger on the pulse with its offer and services." This also applies to other topics with a social impact: "As far as this is concerned, there is still a lot of potential and some levers for the expansion of our CSR activities," Klink emphasises. "There are not only our hotel cosmos, but also many unresolved social issues that we should consider both in our business activities as a company, as well as everyone for themselves in their personal actions."
