Science meets stage: FameLab on April 27

On April 27, 2025 at 7 p.m., the Kleines Haus of the Staatsschauspiel Dresden will become a stage for bright minds and creative ideas. At FameLab, the international competition for science communication, young scientists will present their research in just three minutes - in an understandable, entertaining and surprisingly different way.

What is FameLab?

FameLab is a global format that takes place in over 20 countries. Under the motto "Talking Science", young scientists compete against each other to talk about their research in a captivating way - without any technical jargon, but with creativity, wit and passion.
Dresden is proud to be hosting a regional preliminary round again this year - alongside Bremerhaven, Bielefeld, Karlsruhe and Regensburg.

Why should you be there?
  • Experience inspiration: Science you can touch, think and marvel at

  • The best entertainment: an entertaining evening with exciting topics and original contributions
